FINDING JORDAN ON CROSSING JORDAN

The sixth season of Crossing Jordan finds Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh as a fugitive on the run.

Jill Hennessy is Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, now a fugitive on the run in Washington D.C. from a murder she didn’t commit on the sixth season premiere episode of the NBC series Crossing Jordan.

Jill says she’s excited about this season because it’s going back to the beginning of the series when Jordan had a lot more edge to her.

“It is nice to be affected. It is nice to deal with issues that I care about and this show has always done a really good job about touching on that. And this year we’re in our sixth season and for some reason we’re even going a little further this year.”

She recalls the pilot for the show where Jordan is in an anger management class.

“And she’s in a hoochie mama skirt and a little tank top and she just loses it. I’d never seen a female character especially on TV be so open with her anger, with her dysfunction, with her bitterness. With the fact that it was ugly anger and it didn’t matter. She didn’t care what she looked like. She didn’t care what people would think. And we’re seeing a lot more of that this season in every single script I’ve seen.”

Jerry O’Connell, Steve Valentine, and Miguel Ferrer set out to find Jordan and clear her name when the new season of Crossing Jordan airs Sunday night on NBC.
