FELICITY HUFFMAN HONORED TO WORK WITH FONDA AND LOHAN
Felicity Huffman gushed over her famous female co-stars in Georgia Rule. |
Felicity Huffman is not a doting housewife in Georgia Rule. Instead she plays an alcoholic facing her demons and trying to cope with the estrangement to her mother played by Jane Fonda and troubled relationship with her daughter played by Lindsay Lohan. |
Felicity says she fell in love with the role written by As Good As It Gets scribe Mark Andrus. |
“I loved the part of Lilly. She’s so damaged and done such terrible things in her life and yet is still thanks to Mark likable and struggling and trying to do better. And then I was lucky enough to act with the great Jane Fonda and the brilliant Lindsay Lohan and I got to kiss Dermot Mulroney so it kind of was a win, win for me.” |
Even though Felicity’s character has an explosive relationship with Fonda in the film, she had nothing but loving things to say about the iconic Academy Award winner, and Lindsay as well. |
“I adored working with both of them. It was a complete and utter pleasure. There’s the iconic Jane Fonda, doing movies since she was 20, has two Academy Awards and she is very strong and very smart and has a big presence and yet is so open and so loving and so soft and so vulnerable and brings her formidable talent and her incredible dedication to the set. So she just raises the level of your game and Lindsay was just a complete delight. I just love that girl. She was so good in the movie. She throws herself in 110 percent and wants to get it right and it was a joy working with her.” |
Love seems to be all around Georgia Rule whose message says with love and healing you can go home again. |
