DONAL LOGUE LIKES STAYING HOME WITH KIDS
Donal Logue was able to spend more time with his kids when his TV series Knights of Prosperity was put on hold. |
Donal Logue stars in The Ex opposite Zach Braff and Amanda Peet, the breadwinner of the family who just had a baby which forces Braff to get a more secure job at an advertising agency where Logue works. |
In the television world jobs are fleeting and Donal’s Knights of Prosperity is proof of that as the future of the show is still unknown. However Donal says it was the perfect opportunity to be a stay at home dad. |
“If I can stay home. I mean what’s nice with The Knights of Prosperity getting yanked actually is I had a few months to just stay home with my kids in the last few months so sometimes it gets hard when you’re working all the time. You can’t see your children as much as of course you would like.” |
Donal might have to relish his time with his kids as much as he can as he says there’s still a faint heartbeat left in the show. |
“We’ll be working on The Knights of Prosperity if that’s the case and he is someone that we target, we the robbing crew that is the Knights of Prosperity. We shot some episodes with Ray that exist and they’re in the can. If they bring the show back we’ll shoot more surrounding those and then we’ll air those next year so we’ll see.” |
Just in case Donal already has a directing project in the works called The Second Coming which he also wrote about a middle-aged man losing his mind who finds love with a younger woman who’s escaped from a mental institution set in the South. The Ex opens Friday in theaters. |
