TI AND FIANCE BREAKUP

T.I. says his new movie, American Gangster, will be in the Oscar running next year.

T.I. and his longtime girlfriend, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle formerly of R&B group Xscape, have decided to go their separate ways. The couple has one son together and they were expecting a child in July. Unfortunately Cottle had a miscarriage in March. The couple had been together on and off for three years. T.I., who has four other children from previous relationships, said, “We want each other to be happy. It’s nothing she did and it’s nothing I did.”

In related news, T.I. is gearing up for the release of his new album, T.I. v T.I.P., on July 3rd. The album will feature collaborations with Jay-Z and Eminem.

“I mean it’s a direct reflection of your relevance in the hip hop urban market. I don’t think anyone impacts and reaches the home of black people today like BET.”

T.I. plans to kick-off the new album with a performance at the BET Awards on June 26th. He shared his thoughts on the reach of the network. The rapper said,
