WILL I AM SET TO LAUNCH NEW DENIM LINE

Will.I.Am hooks up with Blue Holdings Inc for his own denim line…..

The Black Eyed Peas Will.I.Am has entered into a partnership with Blue Holdings Inc. to create “i.am Antik,” a new denim line that will compliment Blue Holding’s Antik Denim Collection. The new line will hit high end specialty stores and upscale department stores in August.

Fashion isn’t anything new for Will.I.Am who attended the Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles before the Black Eyed Peas took off. The rapper shared what fans can expect from the clothing line. He said, “I produce and write my own music, and the same creativity, energy and imagination I put into making music is the same creativity, energy and imagination I put into designing clothes. I am excited to collaborate with Antik to create a fresh remix of denim.”

“I’m doing this because at one point of time I was in my bedroom dreaming about doing it. So here I am doing it and I don’t want to stop doing it because I remember what it felt like dreaming in the projects looking out the bathroom window.”

In addition to the denim line, Will.I.Am also owns his own label and produces hits for many of today’s top artists. The producer shared that what motivates him to keep busy is his memories of wanting to get out of the projects as a child. He said,
