Danny Ocean and the crew are back for Oceans 13. This time the heist is to avenge original eleven member Reuben Tishkoff who was double-crossed by casino owner Willy Bank played by Al Pacino. |
Ocean stars George Clooney and Matt Damon took time out from their hard-working promotional duties at the Cannes Film Festival where they remembered from Oceans 11 that George was never much of a gambler. |
“He lost 25 straight black jack hands in a row which I think is a record. It happened. I saw it happen. I would never have believed it unless I saw it happen. And then at the end slipped a check under my door for $2,500 that said, ‘for services rendered.’ George: I’ll be sitting there and he’s ‘come on play some cards.’ I’m telling you I can not win. He says ‘Come on we’ll play $100.’ Matt: I said, ‘no you’re exaggerating I know how to play. I’ll tell you.’ He goes, ‘I don’t know when to hit or when to stay.’ I said, ‘don’t worry I know everything. I’ll tell you. We’re gonna play this by the book.’ George: I also said I have never won in my life in gambling and that is the truth. Matt: And I said because you’re playing wrong. You’re playing wrong. George: And boy it was unbelievable. It got to the point where even the dealer was laughing.” |
Oceans 13 opens Friday in theaters. |
