Atlanta-based quartet, The Alliance which consist of Bliss, Ty Cutta, Blackout, and Skinny, recently released their debut single, “Tattoo” featuring Fabo of D4L. The group plans to release their debut album, Goin Digital, this summer on NCE Records/Asylum Records. |
The group was put together by Noting Comes Easy (NCE) founder Shawn Q. Group member Skinny shared how it all went down. The rapper said, |
“Basically you know how it is in Atlanta, we got a lot of open mics, you know what I mean, a lot of showcases they be having such as the Peacock, Pool Palace, you know what I mean, Blues In The Alley. So basically you know first and foremost we all solo artists, you know what I mean? So you know what I’m sayin’, we used to do a lot of showcases, you know what I’m sayin’? That’s where I met Blackout, I met Bliss at, you know what I mean? I met our management Sean Q. Blackout and Bliss was in the showcase as well as I was. And so we just kind of got discovered by the dude at being at the same showcase, you know what I mean, we performed at the same showcase. We got together with the management like that and formed The Alliance, you know what I mean?” |
A remix of “Tattoo” was recently released to urban radio. |
