Rapper 50 Cent has decided to push back his third solo album, Curtis, which was originally scheduled for a June 26th release. The album will instead hit stores on September 4th. The rapper blamed the delay on the addition of last minute material and on the fact that he wanted a simultaneous worldwide release. He said in a released statement, “I’m an international artist. My fans worldwide deserve to receive my album at the same time as my fans here in the U.S. Taking that into consideration, moving the album to September was a necessary course of action.” |
Curtis will feature guest appearances by Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, Justin Timberlake, Mary J Blige, Akon, and Eminem. |

In related news, Coca Cola has announced plans to purchase Glaceau, the company that produces Vitamin Water. In 2004, 50 Cent invested in the company and he allegedly owns a 10 percent stake in the company. The rapper stands to make close to $400 million from the deal. |
