T.I. is excited and anxious about the release of his new album, T.I. v T.I.P….. |
The King of the South, T.I., will release his new album, T.I. v T.I.P., on Tuesday, July 3rd. The first single from the project was “Big Things Poppin'” and the rapper recently released the set’s second single and video, “You Know What It Is” featuring Wyclef Jean. The album features guest apperances by Eminem, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Eminem. The set features the production of Just Blaze, Khao, Mannie Fresh, Danja, The Runners, and Keith Mack. |
T.I. shared his thoughts on what fans can expect from the project. He said, |
“It’s better than anything I’ve ever done. It’s my best body of work yet man and I’m proud of it. You know I’ve been working on it very hard, diligently for quite some time now. I’m anxious to see what you know people think, you know how they receive it.” |
In related news, T.I. made headlines last weekend after he got into a physical altercation with Ludacris’ manager Chaka Zulu at a luncheon in Los Angeles to honor Warner Music executive Kevin Liles. According to published reports, T.I. punched Chaka Zulu in the face and a physical confrontation erupted at the event. Zulu issued the following statement in regard to the incident. He said, “It’s a shame that things like this continue to happen especially with the backdrop of an event that was about benevolence and charitable works. I’m thankful that all issues have been resolved.” |
T.I.’s beef with Zulu is the latest incident in a longstanding beef between T.I. and Ludacris. The two men have bumped heads in the past but it appears they’re working behind closed doors to resolve their issues. |
