SUPERBAD DUDES CRUSHED BY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
The stars of Superbad had high school crushes that crushed them for life. |
In high school most guys are interested in impressing the girls, and in Superbad the lovable losers try their best. |
When it came to romancing their high school crushes in real life Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Jonah Hill were anything but super bad. |
“I was in my drama class and there weren’t any really cute girls in my drama class so I didn’t have many crushes in high school. It was kind of sad. I remember that they’re all whores who didn’t want to go out with me. No I’m just kidding. There are a couple of girls that I’m glad I never ended up with because it’s better to have that image of them because the more relationships you have the more you realize that your vision of somebody is alot better than they actually are a lot of times. But the girlfriends I had in high school were all really nice and awesome. I remain friends with them.” |
Michael Cera is the only character in the film who physically gets lucky, well almost, with his school crush. |
“I remember liking girls in 9th grade that I still know and I don’t think were right for me. I didn’t really know that well so it’s fortunate they wanted nothing to do with me. Jonah: And when you’re in high school you have such a perfect image of the girls you knew and would definitely get shattered if you knew that they weren’t as great as you thought they were possibly.” |
Superbad opens Friday, August 17 in theaters nationwide. |
