EVANS BLUE PURSUIT OF MUSIC

Evans Blue is chasing hard rock stardom with The Pursuit, despite their pursuit of a new drummer.

Evans Blue has released their new album The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal Of Life Ends, and it features the first single titled “This Portrayal.” The band is currently on a headline tour, and the song is currently at Number 15 at Active Rock radio.

We asked the band what the biggest obstacle was in getting The Pursuit finished.

“Did we have any obstacles? No actually it went very smoothly this time around because we had a lot of the songs written before we actually stared actually, officially. Because we wrote on the road and we wrote before we went on tour so when we got back it was a matter of… We had a new drummer. I guess that was an obstacle. That actually wasn’t an obstacle because it worked so well. Something horrible is going to happen to us, becuase this album was too easy.”

Evans Blue talked about the change in drummers.

“Well the drummer on our tour was Danny, Danny D. We had gotten off tour, and he had been away from home too long. Bored. Bored in Canada. We wanted to start working on the album, and I think it got too much and we had to split ways. nIt was amicable. We found another drummer, Davis, Davis H, and he fit in so totaly.”

Evans Blue is currently out on a headline tour through September 7.
