THE GHOST WHISPERER UNEARTHS SECOND SEASON DVD

The spirits in season two of The Ghost Whisperer are getting stronger which is now available on DVD. The series which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as a conduit to the dead continues to delve into the supernatural.

Hewitt talks about season two of the hit series.

“I had no expectations for season two. I was curious to see what they were gonna do with Melinda. I loved what they’d done with her in the beginning of the season. I enjoyed playing her so much in the middle and the end of the season for me was everything I could have ever hoped for.”

The second season saw the addition of cast members Camryn Manheim as a local realtor who comes to work for Melinda’s Same As It Never Was shop, reuniting with her dead husband’s ghost, and Jay Mohr as a symbol expert who helps Melinda crack unearthly mysteries. The show is modeled from real life ghost whisperer James Van Praagh, one of the foremost mediums in the world, who is also an executive producer on the series.

“The show grows and evolves naturally and that’s what’s happened. It’s evolved in characters and changes in cast and the audience knows now what the ghost buster is so we have to evolve the story and that’s what happened. I think we made strides the second season and brought in a lot of different types of things and different topics. We really were very successful.”

The DVD includes all 22 episodes, behind the scenes featurettes and the Ghost Whisperer Crystal Ball mind reading game and limited edition tarot cards which unlocks a special fortune on the internet when used. Season three of The Ghost Whisperer premieres this fall on CBS.
