ELIZABETH PERKINS SEES FIERCE PEOPLE IN HOLLYWOOD
Elizabeth Perkins took time off from the television series Weeds as the PTA president who loves to spend other people’s money to playing the spoiled wealthy daughter of Donald Sutherland in Fierce People. |
Elizabeth who lives and works in Hollywood says she recognized quite a few of her acquaintances walking down Rodeo Drive in her character. |
“My inspiration for Pilar Langley comes from many, many people here in Hollywood that I have met. The extreme ultra rich, old money. She’s a conglomeration of many people I’ve met through my experiences and travels through Hollywood.” |
Elizabeth who is a stepmother to three boys and has a daughter couldn’t find anything in common with the self absorbed mother she plays on screen. |
“There is absolutely nothing I’ve brought from myself to Pilar. I am 180 degrees away from this woman. I’m an extremely devoted mother who loves spending an enormous amount of time with my children but I’m not really sure Pilar is aware she has a daughter. Not a whole lot that I could’ve brought of myself to this but definitely had a good time.” |
Elizabeth got a chance to work with best friend Diane Lane who also stars in Fierce People. She can currently be seen in Weeds causing mischief with Agestic’s new realtor Matthew Modine.rn |
