ADRIEN BRODY BONDS WITH MOVIE BROTHERS

Adrien Brody felt a family dynamic with The Darjeeling Limited brothers.

Adrien Brody stars in The Darjeeling Limited as the middle brother of three who is searching for his own answers while on a spiritual quest through India.

Adrien says he felt a brotherly connection with his co-stars Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman.

“This has been very exciting for all of us. We really had an amazing adventure and we’re all in it together. It feels good, it’s a team. I feel like Wes is like the fourth brother, doesn’t get a lot of camera time but he’s definitely one of us. And we’re all similar in some way. It’s weird. It’s beyond any kind of physical resemblance. There are similarities that are intangible.”

Adrien had a profound experience in India where he came to appreciate the precariousness of life and the beauty in all the chaos going on there.

“It’s a very unusual experience in of itself. The making of this movie, the way that we’re shooting it being in India on a moving train. Most movies although they look exciting they’re rarely as exciting as this to make. I think the beauty of this is the three guys are going through actually relatively painful stuff but it’s being dealt with in a very kind of comedic odd way.”

Adrien who had a Eurail adventure when he was 21 was a bit height challenged in the cramped space of the Indian trains and often had to duck his head down just to get into the frame.
