RAY J INKS NEW DEAL WITH KOCH RECORDS

R&B singer and Ray J has signed a new deal with Koch Records for his next album which is tentatively titled, Rated R. The singer’s last album, Raydiation, was released independently through his own Knockout Entertainment label and Sanctuary Records. The set sold over 300,000 copies and it featured the song, “One Wish.” |
Alan Grunblatt, general manager and EVP of Koch Records, shared that Ray J is one of the big releases the label has in store for 2008. He said, |
“Right now coming up next year, we just did a deal with Ray J. And his record’s phenomenal. He’s working with The Game, working with Wayne. And that’s going to be a big record. Plus we have a record coming out from The Alchemist, coming in February. And he’s making a wonderful, wonderful record.” |
In related news, Ray J has denied reports that he’s working on a tell-all memoir titled, Sex Machine. The singer has been romantically linked to Kim Kardashian, Lil Kim, Whitney Houston, and Karrine “Superhead” Steffans. |
Earlier this year a sextape starring Ray J and Kardashian was released by Vivid Entertainment. The company is interested in doing more work with Ray J. |
