Salt N Pepa deny rumor that they were involved in fight while taping reality show…..

Salt ‘N Pepa, the greatest female rap group of all time, has reunited for a new VH1 reality show. The group, which consisted of Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandy “Pepa” Denton, and DeeDee “Spinderalla” Roper, disbanded in 2001. The new reality show captures Salt and Pepa as they work through their differences.

A rumor was circulating that the two women were involved in a physical confrontation during the taping. Salt thought the rumors were riduculous. She said,

“Well to tell you the truth Pep got out of hand. I had to bust that behind. And come on ya’ll, ya’ll think I’m crazy. Look at the arms on this girl. We have never fought physically in our whole career. And I think it is really crazy that people talk about that like that’s fact. it’s just so absurd to me. No!.”

Salt ‘N Pepa released five albums between1986 and 1997. The group’s hits include: “Push It,” “Whatta Man,” “Tramp,” and “Shoop.” Salt-N-Pepa’s last release was 1997’s Brand New.

The Salt N Pepa Show will premiere on VH1 next Monday, October 15th at 10:00 pm.
