Rapper Jadakiss, who is a member of the Lox, is close to finalizing a deal with Def Jam Records. Def Jam president Jay-Z told MTV.com that the deal was almost complete. He said, “It’s about 90 percent [complete].” |
Jadakiss has recorded as a solo artist and a member of the Lox for the Ruff Ryders label which is distributed by Interscope Records. The rapper’s previous solo sets include 2001’s Kiss Tha Game Goodbye and 2004’s Kiss of Death. |
“When we wrap it up and feel it’s solid then we gonna go get this check. You know there’s a lot of people who want it. A lot of labels who want us, a lot of dudes want to mess with it. You know that’s gonna be classic street hip hop. You know it’s what you’re looking for. So when we finish with the work, we gonna go do what we do.” |
