Camron resurfaces after helping his mother recover from stroke.

The Diplomats founder Camron has been outof the public eye for a few months. The rapper and 50 Cent got into a lyrical battle earlier this yera but by mid-summer Camron was nowhere to be found. The rapper recently explained that he decided to stay out of the spotlight for the last few months because his mother was recovering from a series of strokes that left her paralyzed on the left side of her body.

The rapper, who moved his mother to Florida for her rehabilitation, said, “Even when I had my mom situated, she had the help she needs, the physical therapy. Everything was right — that was like a month ago — [but] I still laid low, because when I come out it’s gonna be done right. But I just sat back and bugged out at how everyone else was acting … I heard all the rumors, mad felonious s**t, fake s**t.”

“But that’s what I’m trying to say. We got so much going on that we can’t let this even….Basically what I’m trying to say, if this goes on this is just like this pocket right here, the pee wee pocket. That ain’t nothing, you know what I’m sayin’? We still keep everything else moving. This beef is right here. Put that in there but we still got a bunch of albums and stuff we got to put out. You dig?”

Camron also shared that he still hasn;t spoken to fellow Diplomat Jim Jones. He said, “I still haven’t spoken to Jim. Everybody thinks I’m mad at Jim. Why am I mad? I told people for years that Jimmy was gonna be a star, so it’s better on my résumé. I wish him the best.

Camron will release his new double mixtape, Public Enemy #1, on Tuesday, November 6th. Camron explained that he doesn’t allow beef to interfere with putting out music. He said,
