BEE MOVIE MAKES BEE LINE TO NUMBER ONE

Bee Movie is number one at the weekend box office.

Jerry Seinfeld’s Bee Movie stung American Gangster at the box office coming in first place with $26 million.

Jerry who strolled the yellow carpet for the Los Angeles premiere talks about why audiences are all abuzz over the story of Barry B. Benson and his fight for homemade honey.

“It’s nice to see so many different ages and types of people. That is really the fun of making this an animated movie, is you can get almost anyone interested in it because everybody loves to see the look of it.”

Bee Movie is Seinfeld’s first venture into the world of animation.

“I like animation because it’s like a dream you know where you see things as they could be even though they’re not. It’s just a pure fun fantasy but it looks real and fake at the same time.”

The fact based American Gangster starring Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington came in second place with $24 million while the Christmas comedy Fred Claus starring Paul Giamatti and Vince Vaughn brought in $19 million for third.
