T. I. TO GIVEAWAY TURKEYS DESPITE HOUSE ARREST

T.I. planning Turkey Giveaways throughout Atlanta depsite being under house arrest….

Atlanta-based rapper T.I. may be under house arrest but he isn’t letting that stop him from giving back to his community this Thanksgiving. The rapper’s Grand Hustle record label and Grand Hustle K.I.N.G. Foundation will be handing out 400 turkeys in Atlanta: 200 on the west side, 200 on the east side. Thanksgiving dinner will also be served to the underprivileged at Atlanta’s Club Crucial on Thanksgiving Day.

In addition, T.I. is reaching out to his celebrity friends on behalf the Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry and Homeless Foundation. The rapper is hoping to raise $150,000 for a massive turkey giveaway at Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves.

“Nah, not yet, you know give it a couple of years. Right now I’m starting to produce. I know what I think in my mind should be on screen but I don’t know how to transfer it from my mind through the camera on to the screen just as of yet. But I’m working on it.”

Prior to his arrest on weapons charges, T.I. was on the cusp of a promising film career. He starred in American Gangster and he was scheduled to star opposite Danny Glover in an upcoming project. The rapper shared that he’d liek to direct one day. He said,

T.I. is currently working on a new album, Paper Trail, while under house arrest. No trial date has been set for the rapper, who is accused of purchasing machine guns and silencers.
