REVOLVER STARS SERIOUS ABOUT NOT PARTYING
On the set of Revolver in London, the stars were on their best behavior. |
The set of Guy Ritchie’s film Revolver was no playground for it’s stars Jason Statham and Vincent Pastore. Even though it was shot on location in London there was no partying at the pubs. |
Vinnie, fresh from getting whacked on The Sopranos as Big Pussy wanted to make a good impression on his director boss. |
“We were working and despite what everybody probably thinks about guys like us, you know when you wrap you go home because you know you want to go to dinner and have a few beers and stuff but you got a big day the next day and you don’t want to disappoint everybody and come in the next day with a hang over. Everybody is depending on you so. That’s the fact and if you do care about what you do and the fact that someone’s hired you to be a part of their movie that’s the last thing on the list to turn up with half a brain, not knowing your lines. You’re just ruining the day for everybody else. That’s right.” |
Revolver marks the third film Jason has made with Ritchie which began with Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Vincent says he would like to have a similar track record with Guy. |
“When you have a job you want to take advantage of doing the best job you can so these people want to work with you again and obviously since Jason and Guy have worked together three times, they like working together. He’s not late and I want to work again with Guy and I want to work with these guys in London so you want to get a good report card, case closed.” |
Jason’s next job is Death Race which takes place in a futuristic prison where the inmates run deadly races before they are released. Vinnie makes his Broadway debut with his Soprano’s co-star Aida Turturro in Chicago. |
