C-Murder set to drop DVD and new album while under house arrest. |
Rapper C-Murder, who is the younger brother of Master P, will release a new DVD titled, The Movement, on December 11th. The documentary follows the rapper as he records a new album and participates in rehab projects with the NFL to restore area of New Orleans that were destroyed by Katrina. The DVD also features several rappers signed to Murder’s Tru Records. |
C-Murder is currently under house arrest as he awaits his retrial on murder charges. The rapper was initially found guilty of killing a man during a shooting at a nightclub and sentenced to life but the verdict was overturned after it was discovered that prosecutors withheld information about the criminal background of some of their witnesses. The case is slated to go to trial in February. |
“Yeah man I’ve been through a lot but you know I take every day and I appreciate every day that I’m here and that I’m home and I’m with my family. You know so that’s what I do. I just can’t let nothing get to me and take me down. I got to keep a positive attitude. Keep a whole positive vibe around me, you know? Just make the right moves, that’s what I do.” |
