ASHLEY TISDALE ANCHORS HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2

The DVD of High School Musical 2chock-full of extras was released in time for the holidays, and see why star Ashley Tisdale says it’s a must-have.

Ashley Tisdale anchors the cast of High School Musical 2, which also stars Zac Effron, Corbin Bleu, and Vanessa Hudgens among others, has hit DVD. The extended edition DVD hit stores December 11, and it’s the sequel to the popular first movie. The disc features bloopers, an extra scene not in the original airing of the film, a rehearsal cam, and a sign-along and karaoke version of the songs.

Ashley Tisdale, who plays Sharpay Evans in the film, talked about the DVD, and why people can’t get enough of High School Musical.

“I think kids watch stuff over and over and over again because it’s something that they enjoy and something that they love. I think that High School Musical 2 for them is something that…They’ve watched High School Musical over and over and over probably already and I think they’re all waiting for something new. They’re excited to see what’s going to happen in the sequel. It’s always exciting to see a character like Gabriella in a new setting, in a new movie. I think each of our characters I think they’re going to be excited to learn the new dance moves, learn new songs. Hopefully they enjoy it, and of course the DVD will have them be able to enjoy it over, and over, and over again.”

Tisdale recently received a rhinoplasty, aka nose job, to correct a deviated septum, and she showed it off at Z-100’s Jingle Ball on Friday night. She wasn’t happy with the way the nose felt during the Z-100 show that she cancelled similar radio shows in Philadelphia and Miami over the weekend.
