TWISTA LAUNCHES NEW LABEL

Twista launches new label and he’s prepping album by Speedknot Mobsters….

Twista recently launched his own label, Get Money Gang (GMG) Recprds. The first release from the new label will be The Speednot Mobstaz’ Mobstability II: Nation Bizness. The project hits stores on March 18th and will be distributed by Koch Records. The first single from the project is “Money To Blow.” The set will feature guest appearances by Twista and Jim Jones.

The Speednot Mobstaz consists of Liffy Stokes and Mayz who met Twista over 10 years ago when he was recording his debut, Adrenaline Rush. The group released their gold-certified debut, Mobstability, in 1998.

“Once you start censoring the music and we gave you a choice, it shouldn’t be talked about after that. After that it’s about raising your kids. Once you say okay it’s not all just like this. We’re gonna censor some of it so that we can give the kids a choice to listen to it like this. Then after that you got to get into the parenting, you know what I’m sayin’? You watch your kid or watch your son or your daughter. Make sure they have this one instead of this one, you know what I’m sayin’?”
