“And people I just want to let you know that in 2008 I got some good, good music coming at you. I got a new album ready to drop. It’s going to be inspirational, it’s going to be motivational and above all it’s going to be just plain fun because it’s going to be real good down home Rock N Roll with a little bit of Hip Hop and Soul.” |

“And speaking of the album, I got the album hopefully the album should be out around June and I have some really, really good musicians on the album. I got Mick Mars from Motley Crue, I got Travis Barker on drums and I got Sebastian Bach from Skid Row doing some vocals. It’s going to be crazy. It’s a whole other level for music and entertainment.” |
We also talked with DMC about having Travis Barker throw down some of the best drum tracks he’s ever heard. |
“Everybody want to know, yo how did you get Travis Barker. Well I was like ‘I need a drummer. Hmmm. I’m going to go get one of the greatest drummers in the world.’ I called Travis Barker up and I said ‘Yo I got this record I want you to play on right.’ He said ‘O.K. send me the track.’ I sent him the track and I swear to god the track came back in two hours completely finished with some of the best drumming I ever heard. That’s how he gets down. Because he ain’t just a pro, he’s a professional.” |
