SAVING ABEL VOX ADDICTED TO TNA WRESTLING LOVE
Saving Abel singer Jared Weeks is addicted to TNA Wrestling, but it’s one particular wrestler he has ‘Love’ for. |
Saving Abel has one of the top rock songs in “Addicted,” and they’re currently out on the road and will join up with Puddle of Mudd later this summer. Singer Jared Weeks has formed a love relationship with TNA Wrestling star Angelina Love. |
Weeks said that Love knows what being in the public eye means, and he was asked how she handles adoring fans – particularly women – who try to cozy up to the band. |
“She pretty much knows how things go, the autographs and the pictures. You just can’t kiss any boobies. She totally gets pissed at that. I found that out the hard way, nah, I’m only kidding. She knows. She’s been doing it for seven or eight years too, and she does autograph signings. So she knows how that goes. There’s just a line you can’t cross or you get beat up by a girl wrestler. How good does that make me look? [drummer Blake Dixon] “Cross that off the list.” [Weeks] “Yeah, no kissing boobies.” |
Weeks talked about how he’s able to sustain a relationship with the star with both of their busy schedules. |
“Well, her character Angelina Love is her name and we actually got to go…We were in Orlando and we got to watch the Pay Per View with her in it. It’s kind of funny. I talk to her everyday and I’m like, ‘So what did you do at work today?’ She’s like, ‘I got into a fight with this girl and then we went out for coffee.’ I’m like, ‘Uh, what? Oh, that’s right, OK.’ So she fights women for a living. Lauren, she’s really cool. She love my job. She loves my band. She loves our drummer. She’s been on the road with us a couple of times. She’s been to at least ten or eleven shows. It’s working out pretty well. I’m not complaining and not to mention she’s hot!” [Dixon] “It’s crazy. At the shows she’s so sweet when you engage in conversation and then when you see her at work .” [Dixon] “She’s throwing ‘bows and swinging and hitting people. It’s kind of a turn on.” |
Saving Abel – named after the Biblical sibling of Cain – was formed by Jared Weeks and guitarist Jason Null in 2004 in their hometown of Corinth, Mississippi. Now based in Memphis, Tennessee, the band’s complete lineup includes guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor and drummer Blake Dixon. |
