MOTORHEAD AND LEMMY COMPLETING MOTORIZER
Motorhead and Lemmy Kilmister are putting the finishing touches on their new album, Motorizer. |
Lemmy Kilmister has been working hard in the studio to complete Motorhead’s forthcoming album, titled Motorizer. The band has to get done in time to hit the road with Judas Priest and Heaven And Hell, which is comprised of the Ronnie James Dio Black Sabbath line-up. |
Kilmister talked about the direction of the album. |
“It’s going south, southeast at the moment, but later on we may go north a bit to find an island with some water in it. What direction? I don’t know what direction. Motorhead direction it’s going in. It’s going in a Motorhead direction. I don’t know there’s stuff with a lot of harmonies on it, there’s the usual songs, there’s joggy songs, the usual stuff on albums like what we do on albums in the past. We don’t know how to do anything else. I’m trapped behind a bass guitar. I really wanted to be a postman, but they wouldn’t let me.” |
So, how much more work is involved in the studio? |
“We’re almost done. I’m just finishing off the vocals. We’ve got all the guitars. We’ve got all the bass, I think we’ve got all the bass. There’s just about four tracks so we make sure we get to them. I’m just fixing stuff at the moment. We’ve got all the bare bones done.” |
A forthcoming documentary is in the works titled Lemmy, and an action figure has also recently been released by LocoApe.rn |
