EX-BLINK BARKER AND DJ AM GO HOME TO HEAL PLANE CRASH WOUNDS
Travis Barker and DJ AM have left the Still Burn Center to return home to mend after their horrific plane crash. |
Travis Barker and DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, are still recovering from wounds suffered in an airplane crash last weekend in South Carolina. Goldstein was released from the Still Burn Center in Georgia last Friday, and he reportedly was at a memorial service today for Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, who perished in the crash. Travis Barker was reportedly released today, September 29th and is said to be on his way home to LA via bus to recover at home. Friends and family rushed to be by Adam and Travis’ side while they were in the hospital, including AM’s ex, Mandy Moore, and Barker’s reality show co-star, ex wife, and on-and off romantic interest Shana Moakler. |
While the tabloids debate whether or not Moakler is or isn’t with Barker, in a previous interview the former Blink 182 drummer did share with us some of the things that are closest to his heart. When all things are added up, music, being a TV star, or notable celebrity this is what he said he values most. |
“Yeah, you know, I think my wedding and my son’s first steps. Absolutely. I don’t watch TV. I’m always in the studio with Rob at practice or I’m in the studio with Plus 44 or I’m with my children hanging out, so I really don’t know what it’s like. Some people stop me and go, ‘Yo, I love your family. I watch this,’ or whatever. I don’t really think about it. I just live my life. I’ve been too busy. I don’t even think about it.” |
Barker and DJ AM recently underwent surgeries to address injuries sustained in burns during the crash. The investigation into the crash continues and early reports are surfacing that a faulty tire that blew out may be the cause of the deadly blaze that killed four people including Barker’s assistant and security guard, the pilot and the co-pilot. rn |
