GUITAR HERO: WORLD TOUR RELEASED, TEACHES STING A LESSON
Guitar Hero World Tour was released over the weekend, and Sting whose image was captured in the game, said he learned something from the taping. |
Sting is part of the new Guitar Hero game, Guitar Hero: World Tour, which came out this past weekend, October 25 and 26. The artist that helmed The Police and had countless solo hits taped his appearance in much the same way Tom Morello and Slash did, and fans can rock along with him in the game. |
Sting, who was interviewed by the Activision crew during the imprinting of his image into the game, talked about what the taping was like. |
“The day began with me sitting on a chair, spinning around, and then they took my face at all different angles, and then my body through different body movements, got a surround sound, played. It was actually a lot of fun.” |
He also shared that through the process he actually learned something new. |
“What was fascinating to me is that I never really thought about the idea that the way you move is just as much a signature as the way you sing or the way you play.” |
Sales of Guitar Hero: World Tour are lukewarm after the first days. The full band version is being snapped up more than the guitar only versions, and Wii and Xbox 360 users were more apt to buy than Playstation users. The only drawback is a glitch in the drums that some users are reporting. |
