NEW SLIPKNOT SOONER RATHER THAN LATER?

Slipknot is currently out on the road with Coheed And Cambria and Trivium in support of All Hope Is Gone. It’s the band’s first headlining tour in support of the new album, but already turntablist Sid is looking to the next album. |
Sid was asked if Slipknot has any music they can save for the next album. |
“Yeah. I’m not sure what’s being done with all of it, but all I know is that there was some other music created within the band, the members in the band.” |
He also said that the always volatile Slipknot has plans for another album, if all nine members are still alive by that time. |
“Uh, hopefully another album man. We’ll just tour until we feel that we’ve gotten the new stuff out to as many people that we possibly can. I mean there’s stuff on the backburner so we’ve got plenty of material to work with. I guess it just depends. But I always say just being so many people in the band, statistically, if we’re all still here by the time we write another album, we’ll have another one. It’s hard to keep nine people alive in this planet in this world today.” |
Slipknot’s All Hope Is Gone has been certified Platinum for one million units sold, and it’s on its way to double platinum as certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. |
