RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS THE NEW CREED, CREED REUNION?
As Red Jumpsuit Apparatus finds itself in the same situation as another Florida band, Creed, and Ronnie Winter said a reunion for that band may happen |
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus hails from Florida, and for a platinum band they don’t get nearly the respect they deserve. Another band who only got respect after their second and third albums hit it big was fellow Florida artists Creed. That outfit had hits like “My Own Prison,” “My Sacrifice,” and “Higher,” which silenced most of the critics voices and made them one of the biggest bands of the late ’90s, early 2000s. |
Magazines hated them, but radio and most importantly the fans loved them, and we asked Ronnie Winter about being the Creed of the late 2000s. And speaking of Creed, a bird told Winter that the band is coming back. |
“You’re right that is a good example of that. Creed is a perfect example. I actually heard they’re going to be doing a new record. There’s a band with us Tickle Me Pink on tour, and they’re on Wind-Up, and the lady who owns Wind-Up, I can’t remember her name, she’s really cool whatever her name is, we met her, and I heard her mentioning it to somebody. So, supposedly there’s at least been talks of possible reconciliation and a new record. I’d like to hear it. I bought the first record. I’d be down for some Creed songs. I bought the first one. It was good.” |
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’s latest album, The Lonely Road, entered the charts at Number 14, and the band has two songs that are exploding simultaneously; the riff heavy “You Better Pray” and the more melodic “Pen & Paper.”rn |
