The Ultra Music Festival, which is the world’s leading two-day electronic and alternative music experience, is set to take place once again in Miami, Florida on March 27th and 28th and 2009’s lineup will feature The Black Eyed Peas, The Prodigy, MSTRKRFT, Tiësto, The Ting Tings, Bloc Party, Deadmau5, Pendulum Live, Roni Size Reprazent, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren to name just a small sampling. |
We caught up with Deadmau5 to get his thoughts on performing two days on the main stage at The Ultra Music Festival and doing something a little different for the fans. |
“Oh, coming up for the ultra fest we are going to do something a little different because we got a really good slot this year I think, playing both nights the Friday and the Saturday. I’m not going to give too much away and be all creepy about it but you know, it’s going to be fun.” |
Internationally renowned for its memorable live performances and DJ sets from the world’s top electronic and alternative rock artists, The Ultra Music Festival will take place during the 24th Annual Winter Music Conference at the beautiful waterfront location of Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami, which is the same grounds the festival has occupied since 2006. A few other artists set to perform at The Ultra Music Festival in 2009 include Shiny Toy Guns, Sneaky Sound System, Booka Shade, Santogold, Perry Farrell, Carl Cox, Benny Benassi, Tiga, Dirty South, Infected Mushroom and ATB. |
