HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD SHOWS YOUNG SIDE

Hollywood Undead shows its “Young” side and they say they’re not only about partying.

Hollywood Undead remains one of the hottest and most polarizing new bands on the scene. The band’s album Swan Songs is currently at Number 45 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and both radio and fans are trying to get their head around their new single, “Young.” It’s in stark contrast to “Undead” and “No. 5,” but the band wanted to show another side.

Johnny 3 Tears talked about his take on the anthemic “Young.”

“‘Young’… My attitude towards ‘Young’ is we write so much music that is not necessarily negative, but it’s about negative aspects of life. You know what I mean? And I’m talking about the sad parts of it to the good parts of it about drinking and getting laid and stuff like that. My attitude was I wanted to give something to people besides those things. And ‘Young’ I thought felt inspire young kids, 16 year old kids, that no matter where they’re at things can get better. It’s up to them. There is a group aspect to it, and no one’s alone. Everybody’s got something to say, and if everybody sticks together you can make a change or whatever.”

Fans in the UK will get to finally experience Hollywood Undead. Swan Songs will be released there by Polydor Records on May 18, and it’ll include two bonus tracks.
