The Who singer Roger Daltrey has announced a solo tour titled Use It Or Lose It, and he shared his thoughts on touring while he still can. |
Legendary vocalist of The Who, Roger Daltrey has announced he’ll be hitting the road in October on his ‘Use It or Lose It Tour.’ The tour, which kicks off October 10th in Canada, will be hiting intimate venues like Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium, Denver’s Paramount Theatre, L.A’s Orpheum, Baltimore’s Lyric, and several prominent casinos, House of Blues locations and Hard Rock Cafes. Daltrey will be performing a wide array of music including a mix of Who songs and solo material including some songs he’s never played live and covers that pay tribute to his influences and admired contemporaries. |
Artisan News caught up with Roger Daltrey to get his thoughts on his love of performing live, especially while he still can. |
Daltrey will be joined onstage by a longtime collaborator, guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, as well as guitarist/musical director Frank Simes, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Scott Devours. Tour dates kick off October 10th in Vancouver and extends until November 30th in Clearwater, FL. Along with Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey was a recipient at the 2008 Kennedy Center Honors. As of press time The Who have no plans of touring or getting into the studio. |
