ATREYU, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, ESCAPE THE FATE FALL 09 TOUR
Atreyu talk about their upcoming Fall co-headlining tour with Hollywood Undead and why it will be a good package! |
Atreyu and Hollywood Undead have announced a co-headlining national club tour which will feature a 28 date trek across North America with stops at the famous Roseland Ballroom in New York City, The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, the House of Blues in Las Vegas, to name just a few of the venues. Both bands are known for their energetic live performances and they showcased their upcoming tour together at KROQ’s Epicenter Festival in August 22nd. |
Artisan News caught up with Atreyu to get their thoughts on why the tour is going to be impactful. |
“Well it’s going to be kind of a co-headlining thing. We kind of realized they were going on tour and it was like, ‘That would be great!’ They’re a great band and they’re doing great things right now and we thought the package would be really good. So we kind of approached them and they were as into it as we were and we kind of worked it all out. I think it’s going to be a cool, diverse, impactful tour. I think Escape the Fate is on it as well, so there’s a lot of great bands. A great package. We’re psyched.” |
It was recently announced that Hollywood Undead have achieved gold status for their A&M/Octone debut rnalbum “Swan Songs.” Atreyu have also finished their upcoming new album “Congregation of The Damned” which will be released on October 27th and it will be the bands follow-up to 2007’s highly acclaimed “Lead Sails Paper Anchor” which debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. Atreyu and Hollywood Undead will kick off on October 16th in Lubbock, Texas and extend through November 21st at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. |
