50 CENT AND JIM JONES USE THE SAME BEAT

50 Cent and Diplomats leader Cam’ron have been involved in a war of words for a few months now but it appears the G-Unit rapper may be turning his attention to Diplomats co-CEO Jim Jones soon. 50 Cent’s new single, “Amusement Park” features the same beat that Jones used for the song, “Your Majesty,” on his Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama. The producer of the 50 Cent’s song, Chris Styles of Dangerous LLC, shared that he never gave the beat to Jones |
Styles said in a released statement, “I don’t even know DJ Drama. I don’t know none of these people. I know Jim, but I never gave him a beat CD directly. You know when you on top everybody come at you first. The beat was done for 50 and 50 had the record for a minute. It’s only two people that got the Pro Tools session, me and 50’s camp. Anybody else, I don’t know nothing about that. S**t leaks all the time.” |
“Like I said, 50 is a beast man. He’s the first dude to kinda give me the opportunity to do what I do, you know what I’m sayin’? He had the ears when a lot of people wasn’t checking for me and kinda gave me an opportunity and pushed me in the door. Now I’m working with everybody and anybody, you know what I’m sayin’? So I’m here.” |
The producer added, “Tell Jim to come buy a record from me. I never worked with him, but I would love to do business with him. Come buy a record from me.” |
If Jones and 50 Cent were to get into it over the beat, it’s clear that Styles would ride with 50 Cent as he credits the rapper for giving him his first big break. The producer explained, |
Styles, who produced “Window Shopper,” “Disco Inferno,” and “In My Hood” for 50 Cent, is currently working on LL Cool J’s new album, Exit 13 and a project from his protege Deemi. |
