3 DOORS DOWN TO RELEASE DOUBLE DRUM ASSAULT

3 Doors Down is currently on the second leg of their tour with special guests Alter Bridge and Shinedown, and the band may have a surprise in store for those who come out to some of the later shows.

Vocalist Brad Arnold started out in 3 Doors Down handling both the vocals and the drumming duties, and the converted frontman was asked about the possibility of wheeling out a second kit to play.

(Arnold) “You know, we were going to set it up for the summer…” (Harrell) “That’s a ‘yes.’ (Arnold) “Maybe on the second half of this tour we’ll get it in by then.” (Harrell) “We’ve been trying to get him to do it since the last one and they’re just too sorry to get the drums out and do it. That’s all it is. That’s all it is.” (Arnold) “No, it’s not.”

3 Doors Down recently replaced drummer Daniel Adair with drummer Greg Upchurch from Puddle Of Mudd. Adair was stolen away from the band by Nickelback.

The band will be on tour through November 13, winding down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
