3 Doors Down is currently charting across the board at several radio formats here in the United States. The band is touring with Alter Bridge and Shinedown, in support of their new album, Seventeen Days. The album debuted at Number One upon its release earlier this year.

So with that being the case why to many members of the press and continue to bash them or pretend they don’t even exist? Vocalist Brad Arnold has a theory.

“I think they’re like that sometimes because there’s nothing really flashy about us. You know what I mean? We’re just regular guys that play music. They kind of go towards the here and now and what’s hot, hot hot, right now. I mean how many, in the last five years, how many of those bands have you seen come and go? I mean, how many? I think there’s forty or fifty of ’em.”
