QUEEN LATIFAH AND GOAPELE TO PERFORM AT HOLLYWOOD BOWL

Singer, rapper, and actress Queen Latifah and soul singer Goapele are both scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California, on July 11th at 8:00 p.m. The performance will be Latifah’s first ever show at the infamous venue.

Goapele, who has peformed at the Hollywood Bowl before, is still promoting her sophomore album, Change It All. The album features production by Bedrock, Jeff Bhasker, Linda Perry, Mike Tiger, and Sa Ra Creative Partners with a guest appearance by Dwele.

“When people pick it up, you know, they can reflect on what ‘Change It All’ means you know? What kind of change do you feel like we need out there and what small steps can we take towards it? And also it’s been kind of something that I think has influenced my life in general more than I thought even when I recorded it because I’ve been having to look at things differently that I wasn’t even expecting to you know? Cause once you just let go of you know your assumptions, it just opens up a lot.”

The singer explained how the title of the album is a call to action and how it has changed her life in so many ways. Goapele said,
